Caritas strive to achieve sustainable development and improvement in the health services, social welfare, food security and livelihoods, through advocacy, micro-credit loans, education, charity, emergency intervention and direct service provision.
This evening we have the plesure to meet Ms Nisreen Awwad from Jerusalem. She is a experienced professional with extensive experience for over 25 years in community development, program management, and financial administration. Currently serving as the Head of the Socio-Pastoral Department at Caritas Jerusalem and a member of the Caritas Senior Management Team, Nisreen plays a pivotal role in providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for the department. She fosters collaborative relationships with church leaders and organizations serving Palestinian communities in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.
We will also have the opportunity to meet Johan Schaar this evening. He has been Head of Assistance at the Consulate General in Jerusalem 2013–17.
This webinar will be held in english and is being held in collaboration with Caritas Jerusalem and Caritas Sverige.
