Dr Peter Walker

Christian approaches to Jerusalem and the “Holy places”: in the New Testament, the Byzantine Church and today

The Revd. Peter Walker is a tutor in biblical studies at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. In addition to leading many tours to the Holy Land he has studied classics and early church history at Cambridge University and has done extensive research at the post-doctorate level on Christian attitudes toward Jerusalem.

His lecture will be held at the SCSC at Jaffa Gate in the Old City.

Refreshments will be served from 4:30 pm.
